Ground Cherry, Cossack Pineapple (Physalis peruviana)

Our kids adore these unique fruits with a slight pineapple taste.  The cherries grow encased in a paper-like husk that little ones seem to enjoy harvesting as much as eating.  At least two plants are needed for cross-pollination.
