Soul to Soil Gallery Event at Jackson Art 634
Soul to Soil is a multi-disciplinary gallery event weaving the visual arts to education and activism. This gallery event aims to feature artwork and educational events exploring our relationship to death, dying, and grief—topics often considered taboo in Western culture. We welcome artwork in different forms that examines death as a natural part of life and interrogates the wider social and cultural implications of treating death and grief as taboo.
I’ll be curating this event with some lovely likeminded folks and will also have some of my baskets on display! Also, we will likely be community weaving a basket at the opening reception.
